LESSINGHAM SUPPORTING PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA
Forget-me-Not group meets monthly on a Thursday for support, games, and light lunch for people living with dementia and their carers. Please contact Lay Pastor Ros Peedle. Dates to be announced .
Other Activities in the Chapel
'Young at Heart' meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, from 10.30 am to 12 noon. Enjoy a game of Scrabble, you can also have a cup of tea or coffee, and a chat. All levels of players are welcome! Scrabble boards supplied. Turn up on the day, all welcome.
'In Stitches' is a sewing group which meets in the Schoolroom on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, between 9.30am and 4.00pm. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to the more experienced stitchers. There is lots of chatter and fun; we all help each other and drinks and biscuits, and sometimes cake, are available all day. Members can bring their sewing machines and we have a cutting table and iron for everyone's use. If you would like to join us, come along, any time or contact Pamela Gibbard, Irene Honeysett, or Ros Peedle.
