Originally a Primitive Methodist Church existed in Weybourne.
A new Chapel was built in 1902, and dedicated in 1904.

The clock and Altar Table were in place for the Opening, as was the Font, acquired from Beeston Road Methodist Church. also the Communion Rail made for that church by Teddy Johnson and Billy Felmingham;
The piano stool was carved by William Robert Tuck;

Our history can be found in the chapel corridor, by the vestry and shows many of the earlier ministers, members from 1904 onwards.
Many Hymn Books are dedicated in memory of loved ones;
In 1993 a Garden Seat to the memory of Bob Middleton, Gordon Fovargue, and Bill Rose was given;
This has been replaced in 2013. but the plaque continues to be seen;
The pulpit and lectern cloths were made by Joan Rose;
In 1996 The New International Version Pulpit Bible was presented in memory of Laura Holland;
Latterly The Weybourne Community Fund assisted in the purchase of comfortable chairs and tables;
The Friendship Club, donated the cushions and kneeler at the altar rail,  covered with matching material to the chairs, acquired for this purpose;
The latest generous memorial donation was made to provide the Power Point facilities, screen and laptop.

THE WEEKLY POP INN MORNINGS RAN FOR 3 YEARS FROM 2010 to 2013, AND RAISED OVER £3000 FOR WORTHY CHARITY.

THESE INCLUDED: HELP FOR HEROES;EAST ANGLIAN AIR AMBULANCE SERVICE;HOUNDS FOR HEROES;NOREEN'S KIDS; BEREA CHURCH IN NEPAL.
SADLY THESE TUESDAY MORNINGS ARE NOW NO LONGER HELD.

AFTERNOON POP INNS  with tea/biscuits & cakes, replaced the morning pop inns, raising cash for the chapel as well as bringing friends together.
COFFEE MORNINGS, HAVE NOIW REPLACED THESE, MONTHLY ON THE THIRD WEDNESDAY, AND ARE EQUALLY SUCCESSFUL.

OUR CAIRN is now the central part of our refreshed garden and patio area, where in this quiet place anyone can sit a while remembering loved ones. Stones and markers are available, on the windowsill in the kitchen.
